How JSON to CSV works
Paste a list of objects such as [{"name":"Ann","age":30},{"name":"Bob","age":25}]. Each object becomes one row and each field becomes a column. If objects have different fields, the tool creates a column for every field it finds.
How CSV to JSON works
The first line of your CSV must be the column names. Every following line becomes one JSON object. Quoted values, commas inside quotes and line breaks inside quotes are all handled. Numbers and true/false values are converted to real JSON numbers and booleans; everything else stays as text.
Is my data safe?
Yes. The conversion happens in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Nested objects inside a JSON row are written into a single CSV cell as JSON text.
